  • Australia Outback - Fighting off 100mph whirlwinds of sand and scrubbing the dessert with giant mesh screens to get rid of the newly grown grass so we could set up an automaton tennis match, while a huge man wearing full black rubber body armor sat in a refrigeration unit to stay cool and dry during wind surges.
  • Canada - Convensing a chimpanzee to type on a typewriter on Que.
  • Dominican Republic - Meeting mother of three who named her third child Genesis because he was not born HIV positive.
  • India - Attending a small wedding of 1,500 people that looked like an enchanted forest with elephants.
  • Malawi - The strength of the fierce beauty who held her head high in the marketplace doing whatever it took to survive.
  • Mexico - The incredible depth of skill and creativity of the people who always manage to find a solution.
  • Nepal - Making our way up a very tall mountain to find generous and welcoming people who gave us shelter in their home/cowshed during a sudden monsoon storm that showered us with hail the size of golf balls.
  • New Zealand - Converting a movie theater into an Opera hall where the fellows in the balcony welcomed the orchestra who played “Smoke on the Water” with cheers. Everyone we met invited us to come around for a cold one.
  • Nicaragua - An always grinning woman who delighted in raising her beautiful cows and taking them to pasture each day. Such joy was infectious to all who met her. She embraced her life, every day.
  • South Africa - Bringing attention to the world that like us, the very poor wake up each day with hopes they can lead lives in safety while earning a fair living wage to enable them to sustain their families. And the baby just days away from being born who literally kicked every single time he heard us call out “action, we are rolling”.
  • United Kingdom - Excellence in bold self-deprecating humor.  Best Indian food outside of India.
  • United States  - Directly collaborated with Bill Gates Sr. to write his critically important Global HIV/AIDS Awareness Keynote Speech that he gave at the UNITED NATIONS.
